Les Mis to Celebrate 30th Anniversary at the Queens Theatre



The award winning blockbuster London show, Les Miserables is running with packed houses at the magnificent Queens Theatre. On 8th October 2015, the blockbuster show is all set to make its grand entry into the glorious 30th year. To celebrate this occasion and make the 30th anniversary memorable, limited edition post cards have been produced.
The limited number of Les Miserables’ post cards will feature the star cast of the show which includes Carrie Hope Fletcher, Peter Lockyer and David Thaxton. The availability of the postcards will be on the first come first served basis from April 20, Monday. The offer is available for anyone who books a ticket via the box office at the Queen’s Theatre.

The original star cast includes Colm Wilkinson (Jean Valjean), Roger Allam (Javert), Patti LuPone (Fantine), Frances Ruffelle (Éponine) and Michael Ball (Marius). The wonderful show has always been a delight to watch out for.
Some of the major highlights of the show are its memorable numbers such as ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘On My Own’ and ‘Bring Him Home by Alain Boublil and penned by Claude Michel Schonberg. Les Miserables Cast Update at Queens Theatre London



The blockbuster London musical, Les Miserables is running with packed houses at the magnificent Queen’s Theatre! Recently, Cameron Mackintosh made announcement regarding the cast update for his long running spectacular production. The show is all set to make grand entry into its 30th year from 15th June 2015.
The latest to join the great show includes Phil Daniels as ‘Thénardier’, Jeremy Secomb as ‘Javert’, Rachelle Ann Go as ‘Fantine’; Katy Secombe as ‘Madame Thénardier’ and Zoë Doano as ‘Cosette.’ Peter Lockyer will portray the role of Jean Valjean, Rob Houchen as Marius and Carrie Hope Fletcher as ‘Eponine’. Bradley Jaden is currently in the ensemble, will portray ‘Enjolras’.

The Les Miserables comprises of Adam Bayjou; Sanne den Besten; Edd Campbell Bird; Oliver Brenin; David Burnip; Jordan Lee Davies; Tamsin Dowsett; Katy Hanna; Matthew Harvey; Matt Jeans; Charlotte Kennedy; Emma Kingston; Jo Loxton; Luke McCall; Ryan O'Gorman; Jo Parsons; Adam Pearce; Michael Riseley; Courney Stapleton; Jessamy Stoddart; Samantha Thomas; Lee Van Geleen; Helen Walsh and Paul Wilkins.
On 8th October 1985, the original Cameron Mackintosh and Royal Shakespeare Company production of Les Miserables made its debut at the Barbican Theatre. On 4th December 1985, the show was transferred to the Palace Theatre. On 3rd April 2004, the show was moved to the Queen’s Theatre London.
The multi award winning show Les Miserables is set against the backdrop of 19th century French revolution penned by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg. The blockbuster show is adapted from the novel by Victor Hugo. With soul lifting composition by Claude-Michel Schonberg and lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, Les Miserables is always a treat to watch out for.
