Interesting Facts About Les Miserables Musical London

Looking for a classic London musical! Simply head towards Queen’s theatre, where you can enjoy one of the longest London musicals, Les Miserables! The three hours long show, Les Mis is adapted on the popular Victor Hugo's epic original novel. Although, the show has become one of the most loved shows and longest-running musical still it continues to be one of the most loved shows.
The show is running from the last 30 years in the West End and opened with lukewarm reviews back in 1985. The show is transferred from the Barbican to the Palace Theatre and got finally settled at the Queen's Theatre. The show is set against the backdrop of the French revolution, and revolves around the struggle of ex-convict Jean Valjean.
The show features heart touching musical score by duo Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg. Some of the popular musical numbers featuring in the show are "I Dreamed a Dream", "On My Own", "Stars", "Bring Him Home", "Do You Hear the People Sing?", "Master of the House", "A Little Fall of Rain" and the show-stopping "One Day More".
Trevor Nunn and John Caird, directed the show whereas lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer. Catch the brilliant set design by John Napier, costume design by Andreane Neofitou, lighting design by David Hersey and sound design by Mick Potter and Andrew Bruce. The West End production is retaining a lot of original choreography and staging, whereas Broadway captured revival with vamped-up video design and no revolving stage.
The show features some of the most talented actors like Sierra Boggess, Danielle Hope, Alfie Boe, Ramin Karimloo, Carrie Hope Fletcher, Rachelle Ann Go and Eva Noblezada. Other cast members are Killian Donnelly as John Valjean, Jeremy Secomb as Javert, Steven Meo as Thénardier, Paul Wilkins as Marius, Carley Stenson as Fantine, Karis Jack as Eponine, Jacqueline Tate as Madame Thénardier, Hyoie O'Grady as Enjolras and Charlotte Kennedy as Cossette.
