winning London show, Les Miserables is the world's longest-running musical.
From the last three decades, the show is running with packed houses and still
set the box office register ringing. The show made its debut in the year 1985
and opened with lukewarm response. The show was transferred from the Barbican
to the Palace Theatre and finally settled
at the Queen's Theatre.
The mesmerizing
London show is set against the backdrop of the French revolution. Les
Misérables revolves around the plight of ex-convict Jean Valjean and his
struggles to escape from the scary past. Les Misérables features heart touching
musical composition by duo Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, renowned
for some great works like Miss Saigon and Martin Guerre.
The
Les Miserables show features some superb
musical numbers such a "I Dreamed a Dream", "On My Own",
"Stars", "Bring Him Home", "Do You Hear the People

Theatre is positioned `on the Shaftesbury Avenue, which is one of the most

is the closest station to the theatre and can be reached on either the
Piccadilly or the Bakerloo line. You can also board bus numbers 14, 19, 22B,
38, 53, 88, 94 and 159. You can also hire a taxi or drive your own car, as the
nearest car park to the theatre is on Brewer Street.
